It takes a team effort to keep club operations running smoothly. We take great pride in giving our members a positive golf experience whether it’s in the pro-shop interacting with staff, on the range during a lesson with the pro, or on the beautifully maintained course and grounds.
Bill Borgman - Head PGA Professional
Bill graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing/professional golf, and has been a PGA professional since 1992. His work experience includes the Orlando World Center in Orlando, Florida, the Elcona Country Club in Elkhart, Indiana, The Club Course at Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, and Grand Haven Golf Club, Grand Haven, Michigan.
He started at White Lake Golf Club in 1995, and is truly a member of the White Lake Golf Club family. He excels as a teacher of golf at all levels, as a tournament director, and he enjoys the challenges of running the day-to-day club house operation. He operates and owns the pro-shop at the club, and offers the latest in golf equipment, apparel, and everyday supplies.
Bill was born and raised in Holland, Michigan, where most of his family lives today. He moved to Whitehall with his wife Melissa, also from Holland, and their two daughters, Nikki and Brooke.
Dylan Barry - Golf Course Superintendent
Dylan graduated from Michigan State University in 2017 with a bachelors degree in crop and soil science with a specialization in turf grass management. He has been a Superintendent for the last 5 years at White Lake Golf Club. Prior experience includes Assistant Superintendent positions at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, MI and Lost Dunes Golf Club in Bridgeman, MI along with intern and crew positions at Cherry Hills Country Club in Englewood, CO and Eagle Eye Golf Club in Bath, MI.
He is a Class A Superintendent member in the GCSAA and has garnered success in all facets of golf course management. From managing a crew and updating equipment to modernizing and implementing spray programs and course renovations, Dylan enjoys all the challenges that golf course maintenance has to offer.
Dylan was born in Muskegon, MI and grew up playing golf at White Lake Golf Club. His family has been part of the membership for several decades and he aims to carry on that legacy with his wife Morgan and son Thomas.
Andrew Taylor - Assistant
Andrew graduated from Mona Shores High School in 2021 where he played on the golf and hockey team. Andrew has always lived around the area, as he was born and raised in Norton Shores, Michigan. He is currently a student-athlete at Muskegon Community College where he plays on the golf team and is also a left wing of the Muskegon Voyagers hockey team. Andrew plans to be on his way to becoming a PGA certified professional in the Fall of 2023 and looks forward to pursuing a career around the great game of golf.
Savannah Silk - Assistant
Savannah has been with the club for 15 years. She works the desk, knows all the members by name, and greets them all with a smile. She graduated from Whitehall High School in 2009 where she enjoyed playing on the girl’s golf team (she currently has a nine handicap at WLGC), and was on the basketball team.
She graduated from Muskegon Community College with an Associates Degree in Science and Arts in 2012, and also from Grand Valley State University with a BS in Allied Health Sciences and a Minor in Biology in 2014. She works part-time now at WLGC, so you'll still see her on weekends, running Men's League, and on tournament days! Savannah now works full-time as an Optician for Lakeshore Professional Eyecare.
